Basket-making

Saturday 13th March

Come along and learn this traditional country craft in one of Nottinghamshire’s finest ancient woodlands under the guidance of local woodsman Ray Lister. Participants will get the chance to make their own egg or berry basket from locally sourced organic willow. 10am – 3pm. £40 per person. Meet at the craftsmen sheds in Treswell Wood. Please bring packed lunch; tea and coffee provided. Booking essential.

Winter Bird Walk

Saturday 13th March

Join us for a walk around the Reserve and find out more about the wonderful birds that are around during the winter, followed by some delicious home-made soup. £10 per person including soup. Meet 10.30 am at Attenborough Nature Centre. Booking essential.

British Wildlife

Monday 15th March

A night of entertainment and education awaits with the Beeston Wildlife Group. The knowledgeable and witty photographer Sean Browne will be exhibiting and talking about his beautiful pictures of wildlife. Admission £2 including refreshments. 7.30pm at Trent Vale Infants School, Beeston Rylands, Nottingham.
